Beverly the Every Day Philanthropist

The best part of Realtor Ring Day was our brief crossing of paths with Beverly.  Naturally she chatted about things other than herself.  But as we helped haul her three full carts of groceries from Cub in Plymouth, her friend and chauffeur-for-the-morning filled us in.  All three carts were purchased for Interfaith Outreach's Food Shelf, one of her many regular donations.  She starts with an email request to the shelf asking for wish list items, which was evident by the contents of her cart.  Amongst every other item you might expect, there were also full bags of spices, vanilla, oil, baking supplies and specifics of every sort.  It was a treat to witness.

 Realtor Ring Day is a day set aside by the St Paul Realtor Association to coordinate volunteers for the Salvation Army's kettle donation efforts.  We had a good time doing it, thanks SPAAR and the Salvation Army.
