Fascinating Statistics!

If you were at John Collopy's meeting in Bloomington yesterday, you learned that RE/MAX Results had the best month ever in the history of the company in June 2009.  Here are some more interesting statistics about the best real estate company in the Twin Cities.

  • As of the end of the second quarter 2009, 3 of the most productive offices in the RMLS were RE/MAX Results offices.  Three others were also RE/MAX franchises.  Only one each of Edina and Coldwell Banker made the top 10, and RE/MAX Results Plymouth is within 30 units of being the number one office in the Twin Cities.

  • RE/MAX dominates market share for listings sold as of the end of the second quarter.  Edina Realty trails by almost a point and a half, but Coldwell Banker Burnet is a distant third and Keller Williams in fourth place trails RE/MAX by almost 13 percentage points.

  • Of the more than 15,000 subscribers of the RMLS, only 9,600 posted one sale or more during the first half of 2009.  This means that approximately 6,000 members (40%) didn't post a single transaction January through June.
  • Only 2,430 agents posted 6 sales or more for the first half of 2009.  The number of agents who closed 12 or more transactions for the same period was 748.  That means if you sell an average of two houses per month, you are in the top 5% of sales associates in the Twin Cities.

Don't forget, RE/MAX Results has a fraction of the agent population of our three biggest competitors.  Even Keller Williams has more than twice as many agents on the RMLS roster than RE/MAX Results.
