Hot Weather Not Stopping Buyers!

The current heat wave occurring in the Twin Cities is not stopping buyers from looking for homes. As a matter of fact new properties and those with recent price reductions are getting special attention from buyers looking for the right home. At an open house on a newly listed property I could barely set my open house sign up before I had buyers following me to the door in a popular South Minneapolis neighborhood near the river. On another listing, a price reduction moved the property's price just enough to spike showings and garnered three offers. That property is now awaiting closing.

Buyers are scouring the Internet and have saved searches set up that alert them daily of new homes that either come on the market or fall into their price range criteria. They then contact the agent who has the property listed or an agent they are currently working with to set up a showing.

If you want to sell your home, now might be the time to get it marketable condition and put it on the market. The buyers are out there waiting.
