Should I take my home off the market over the Holidays?

That's a good question. And the answer is “That depends.” If it’s very important to get your home sold, then you shouldn’t take it off the market for a minute. You don’t know when your right buyer is going to come along, so your home must always be ready and available. Buyers looking at homes around the holidays are probably more serious, and must make a decision. They might as well choose your home! The holidays are also a great time to show off your home, especially if you decorate it. Your home looks festive and cozy, and perhaps you have some delicious smelling candles burning or potpourri on the stove. There won’t be too many showings over the holidays, but those showings you do have will be of better quality.
