THRIFTY THURSDAY

One of the great things about being a real estate agent, is exploring new neighborhoods.  It also allows me to follow my other passion, EATING.  I love to find local eateries that are turning out great food at a great price.  In this economy, we are all trying to be frugal.  I prefer to call it resourceful.  I hope that you will enjoy some of my discoveries.  If you find yourself near Lexington and Larpenter in Roseville, go to Mavericks.  Yes, it is in a strip mall, but these guys are turning out roast beef sandwiches that will make you want to find a reason to be near Lexington and Larpenter at lunch time.  Remember when your Mom roasted beef, and the whole house smelled great.  That is Mavericks.  Real roasted beef, thinly sliced, and piled on a soft bun, add your own condiments, make mine mayonnaise and horseradish, and you will be thanking me.  No need for thanks though, if you go, and live west of the river, just ask them to please open a branch west of the Mississippi!  EAT, ENJOY!!
