I know a lot have buyers have been waiting to buy a new home this year. Waiting to see if the tax credit is extended..Done! Waiting to see what interest rates are going to do...Went DOWN! Or just waiting for the right home in the right location and price. Well it's time to take action.

As we approach the holidays and the new year I know one thing for sure. The time will never be better to finally buy a new house. Of course first time home buyers will get the $8000 credit but now existing home owners who have owned their home for more than five years also get a $6500 tax credit. This additional tax credit will start to get things moving in price ranges other than those of first time buyers. 

Interest rates are the lowest in years plus there is plenty of inventory to choose from. A buyer can take advantage of our long cold winter to get even better bargains on lake homes that usually sit until spring.
