Winter Driving: Keep Your Distance from Snow Plows

The Minnesota Department of  Public Safety suggests drivers use caution when driving in the winter, especially in relation to snow plows.  The press release suggests drivers stay back at least 5 car lengths from the snow plows.  Snow plow drivers have limited visability when the snow is flying and have to split their mission between removing snow, salting and driving.  Please read the full press release in the following article to learn the details.
