Plant & Insect diagnostic clinics

Free plant and insect diagnostics is available for Anoka County Residents. These clinics are designed to help homeowners identify problems and create solutions for their landscape issues.

When: Every Wednesday Starting May 22nd through August 28th from 6:00-8:00 pm

Who: Free to all Anoka County Residents

What you need to bring: samples of garden or lawn plants or weeds or damaged plant material for insect diagnostic.

The master gardeners will be onsite to discuss pests, weed control, lawns, trees, flowers, fruits and vegetables.

2013 First Time Homebuyer Programs

The First Time Homebuyer Program is now called Start Up. It started in March and will run through at least September 15th, 2013. Anoka County has the exclusive use of $5,437,084 in funds that the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) has allocated to them. Funds may only be used to finance the purchase of a property within the Anoka County limits. The program provides fixed, low interest, loans to those who qualify and in some cases provide down payment assistance.

There are some stipulations and requirements to be able to take advantage of these funds and programs, for more details please check out Anoka County's website here for more informaiton.

What an AWESOME way for Anoka County to help out those first time home buyers!
