Rental Home for Future Homebuyers Program is a program for families who are interested in owning a home in Bloomington but do not have the down payment money to buy a home today.
The family can enroll in the HRA (Housing and Redevelopment Authority) and rent for a period of 5 years.

A portion of each monthly rent is saved in the program towards the future down payment of a home.

Families need to qualify to enter the program based on income and other criteria.

This is a great way to ease into Homeownership in Bloomington over time and have your down payment saved at the same time.
