May 12th is Girls Aviation Day in Lakeville.

This Saturday, May 12th, Lakeville's Airlake Airport will host the third annual "Girls Aviation Day". It is an event that promotes educating girls about achieving jobs in the aviation field.

The event starts at 9:00am at 22100 Hamburg Ave, and girls 8 years of age or older will be given free airplane rides. There will also be guided tours of North Memorial's helicopter facility, and various maintenance hangers as well as airplane displays.

Space for rides is limited, but you can RSVP by calling 651-769-7093.
