Looking back on 2010, the housing market for the Nokomis Area was relatively flat. November 2009 had a median sales price of $190,000, while 1 year later, November 2010, also had a median sales price of $190,000. We are saddened by the announcement of the closing of Mike's Corner Store at 56th and Chicago. This store has been in the hood for 18 years, originally starting as a corner drug store. The store changed along with the times and most currently had gifts, cards, movie rentals, and take-and-bake pizzas.
