There is a wonderful area in Minnetonka Called OPUS 2. It is incorporated in the OPUS industrial complex just west of 169 at Bren Road. The Minnetonka Marriott Hotel is in that complex.
OPUS 2 is a condo development built in the early 80’s. It consists of 5 buildings, housing 312 condo units, miles of walking trails, a swimming pool, gorgeous grounds and is tucked away in a corner that is not a drive-by location. The condos are 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with 1 or 2 baths and underground parking. They are attractive, well-managed and very pleasant to live in.
The area is very open, wooded and green. The walking trails wind for several miles throughout OPUS and link up with a regional system as well. There are several ponds and benches along the system, and is frequently used.
There is a future light rail stop destined for OPUS. There is a bus to downtown through the area presently. It feels very much like being out in the country, and is hidden away in this beautiful area – much to the delight of the owners!!!!!
