Allergy proofing your house!

For a lot of us watching the snow and cold move out and having the heat and humidity come back means it's time to get out doors and enjoy the nice weather. For some of us, myself included, it means it's allergy season. Here are few tips from various sources on what you can do to allergy proof your house!

1) You want to make sure to keep your house temperature at 70 degrees and to not have the humidity higher then 50 percent. Hot & humid houses are where allergens thrive!

2) Make sure to check your roof of your house for cracks or leaks. If you notice anything, take the appropriate steps to fix this! Leaks or cracks can lead to not only water damage but also mold.

3) Remove things that are cluttering up space and collecting dust. Not only will you have a much more peaceful place to rest but you can rest easy knowing that you don't have extra items collecting dust that you have to clean.

4) In the kitchen, install an exhaust fan -- this will help keep the moisture out of the house that allows the allergens to grow.
