My specialty area is Northeast Minneapolis, where I've resided and been an active member of the community for over the last decade. There’s no place like Northeast. Professional Background

My professional background as a community and political organizer with media, writing, and social networking experience has led to me to my career as a Realtor® with RE/MAX Results. I have a mix of skills that are ideal for this role that leave me well-suited to serve my clients.

This includes being the Outreach Coordinator of a Northeast neighborhood association. There, I enlisted new communities to be involved in the neighborhood, while maintaining relations with existing ones. I facilitated neighborhood meetings, developed newsletters, worked with community programs (including home-improvement loan programs), organized block clubs, and planned events that accomplished the organization's mission through resident participation.

Prior to my service in my own community, I worked for the Office of Congressman Keith Ellison as a Community Representative, where I provided constituent services and outreach on issues of housing, energy and the environment. I also handled casework and acted as a liaison between constituents and federal, state and local governmental agencies. In addition, I staffed rep. Ellison or acted as the congressman's representative at district meetings and events.
