Como (St. Paul) Barter Market January 21, 2012
Do you have more stuff than you need? Would you like to trade it for something you can use? Come to the Como Barter Market on Saturday, January 21 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the 5-5-1 Club and Cafe located on the Lyngblomsten campus (1415 Almond Avenue). Street parking is available on Pascal Avenue and participants can use the back entrance under the white arbor.
How it works: No money needed! There is no need to mark prices on items. You decide what you'd like to bring and what you'd like to trade for it. No one is forced to trade if they don't want to. A polite "no thank you" will suffice. You can bring items that didn't get traded back home with you or if you wish, they will be donated to Joseph's Coat, a St. Paul free store. What to bring: items in good enough condition that you would share with a friend - toys, clothes, shoes for kids and adults, household goods, camping gear, books, plants, etc. No guns or weapons or other illegal items please. Supervised children are most welcome. They are good at trading! Due to space considerations, we ask that you pre-register by Thursday, January 19. Contact Jessica Bronk at 651-644-3889 or email district10@district10comopark.org to register.
