Personal Background

We grew up in Minnesota and have lived in Rochester, Michigan & Columbus, Ohio before moving back to Prior Lake, Minnesota. We have made many friends in all locations and enjoy returning for visits.

I grew up in St. Louis Park. After graduating high school from Minnehaha Academy, I enlisted in the U.S. Army for 3 years. I served as an Operating Room Specialist at Fort Lewis, Tacomah, WA. I married my high school sweetheart, a Registered Nurse, after being discharged and then attended Michigan State University during which time I was a member of the Livestock Judging Team. After graduating from MSU I entered the field of Wholesale Veterinary Distribution as an outside sales representative. During my first 25 years I earned "Sales Person of the Quarter/Year" 17 times. My last 7 years were spent as Sales Manager. I changed careers and have been a Real Estate Agent since that time. I also was involved with Boy Scouts of America for 9 years as a Merit Badge Counselor, Weblo Leader, Troop Secretary and Committee Chairman. I was able to witness my son, Matt, earn Eagle Rank. Matt has since then graduated from Michigan State University (Hospitality Business Degree), attended Scottsdale Culinary Institute and is now an Executive Chef in Chicago, IL.
