Hospital with Hospitality in Woodbury
From the first time I stepped foot in Woodwinds Hospital, I knew this was no ordinary hospital! Woodwinds Hospital was just named as one of the country's 65 Great Community Hospitals by Becker's Hospital Review, a publication that covers legal and business news and analysis relating to hospitals and health systems. Woodwinds has also received other awards in the past like the 100 top hospital awards.
Woodwinds opened in 2000 and has 86 beds. The hospital is operated by HealthEast and is partners with childrens Hopsital and Clinics of Minnesota to provde primary care and specialty services for children and adults. Woodwinds also offers a variety of classes and health related clinics on a variety of topics. The Natural Care Center is amazing, it was created through a partnership between Woodwinds and Northwestern Health Sciences University and offers great services and products. The classes are top notch and I highly recommend them.
Woodbury should be very proud to have such an innovative and community based facility. If you ever want to tour the facility, all you have to do is call and ask for a tour, they are always happy to accommodate.
