Even if you have the remotest chance of selling your home during the winter months, get out and take some pictures now. Let’s face it Minnesota in November through April just isn’t as pretty. Oh, there can be some beautiful blue-sky days right after a snowfall, but overall our yards look their best during the summer months.

A home’s first impression can make a huge difference in how well it fares on the market. Take pictures showing the privacy of the yard when the trees are fully leaved. Take pictures of flower gardens. Take a picture of the back yard, the deck, the patio. Summer pictures of pools are especially important.

Please go outside and take some pictures of your beautiful yard. While you’re at it, take some pictures of your kids, your spouse, your parents, your grandparents. Have someone take a picture of you and your spouse. It’s just a good thing to do!
