3 years ago, with a sincere interest in helping the countless people facing foreclosure, I committed to educating myself in the process of Short Sale alternatives to foreclosure, and deed in lieu of foreclosure.

Through a series of courses sponsored by the Nation Association of Realtors I earned the SFR designation, and The RE/MAX sponsored Distressed Property Institute CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation.

I further added certification on the Bank Of America “Equator” Short Sale and Short Sale Builder computer systems.

After a number of successful conclusions to my Short Sale transactions, much of the Federal Making Home Affordable programs changed many of the rules for loan modifications overnight.

Some of these changes were for the worst, some for the better, but the number of Notice Of Foreclosure records filed in Hennepin County, were increasing. In the process of looking for people to help through the county records, I had forgotten to do one very important thing; tell my existing clients, that if they had lost a job, needed help with unmanageable mortgage payments, or owed more than their home was worth, I had alternatives and skill-sets to help them.

In the course of calling and e-mailing a few clients, I was shocked to find out that several were already in an advanced state of foreclosure and had no idea that they had any more desirable options.

I have created a website click here with an amazing amount of straight speaking, to the point help and free reports that can be e-mailed to anyone who needs or wants them. I sent a general e-mail to hundreds of my clients and I am reproducing it here in the newsletter, for any one that we missed the first time around.
