Travel The World At The Burnsville Library.

This Wednesday February 8th, the film series "Travel the World" will explore Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. It will be at the Burnsville Library from 1:30-3:30. The cost is free. The following film will be on February 22nd, and covers India's Golden Triangle. Popcorn is provided, and there will be a discussion following each film.

Beauty Boot Camp at Lakville South High School

Grab your girlfriends, and sign up for the new Beauty Boot Camp which will be held this Thursday February 9th at Lakeville South High School. It starts at 6:00, and will be taught by image coach Jill Swanson. Jill will be giving tips on how to look younger, clothing tricks to make you look thinner, makeup tips, and help with accessorizing. Twin City Ballet Conducts Outreach Program in Local Schools.

The Twin Cities Ballet which is located in Lakeville MN is conducting a Ballet Education Outreach program. The program seeks to interact with children through Art, Dance, Music and History. Past programs have taken place in various Charter & private schools throughout Lakeville, Prior Lake, and Northfield MN.

Apple Valley Holds Second Annual Pond Hockey Tournament.

This Sunday is the Second Annual Pond Hockey Tournament which will be held at the Hayes Community and Senior Center ice rinks. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The event is free, and takes place from noon to 3:00pm. For more information, call 952-953-2345.
