St. Louis Park began as a small village, and developed into an incorporated city in 1890. Minneapolis industrialists turn the area into a hub of commerce, industry and residential properties. As more jobs came to the city, the population grew quickly. In the 1950’s, city planners developed zoning restrictions and improved infrastructure. Today, Fern Hill is one of the most desirable places to live in the metro area.
