In the late 1890ā€™s and early 1900ā€™s fruit production ā€“ namely raspberries and strawberries ā€“ boomed. After World War I, Long Lake began to transition away from their agricultural roots and shifted into a more service-based economy. Today, Long Lake is home to just fewer than 2,000 residents, and contains a bustling and vibrant community.
