Village History

The Village of Osceola was first established in 1853 as the Town of LeRoy. Six years later at a town meeting, the name was changed to Osceola – though there does not appear to be any documented reasoning behind the change. Today, Osceola is home to about 2,500 residents, thriving businesses, and great schools.
