The city of Monticello is conveniently located between Minneapolis and St. Cloud along the Mississippi River. The district employs teachers who make an effort to get to know their students, and children develop into well-rounded and capable individuals.

Monticello has created an in-town shuttle service called Monti Shuttle, with rides costing only $2. The service runs from 7am to 5pm and have a reduced rate when scheduled 24 hours in advance.
