According to a new statistical study by Business Journals, Chanhassen ranks 23rd out of 955 cities in 12 Midwest states analyzed. Chanhassen fared higher than any other city in Minnesota. Criteria for determining quality of life included age of residents, education level of residents, inward migration, household incomes, commuting distances for work and a variety of housing factors.

Chanhassen residents will receive $20 in free recycling fees on Friday, April 29 from 10-7:00 at the Carver County Environmental Center. Items such as appliances, tvs, monitors, lawn mowers, tires, yard waste and electronics usually have fees associated with them. The Environmental Center accepts many items for FREE.
