John got his start in the Real Estate business after September 11th 2001.   He was enjoying his first year job as a pilot for Northwest Airlines reaching his goal of working for the hometown airline when this tradgedy struck our great nation.   Being that John was only in his first year at the new company he didn't have a lot of seniority and when they needed to furlough pilots he was in that group that got furloughed.   So that was when he went after his other career interest in Real Estate and has been loving it ever since.  John owned his first property at age 23 which was a duplex where he lived in one side and rented out the other side to offset the mortgage costs.  Since then John has always had a love for Real Estate and that continues today.

John Fletcher specializes in South and West Metro area, but works all over the state for his referral business.   John is also a state licensed Loan Officer so he can guide his clients through the maze of financing options and ensures the entire experience is a seamless transition.  He can answer all questions about the whole process.  John has built his business with first time home buyers and sellers and gaining their repeat business and new business from referrals from past clients.  Now his original first time buyers are move up sellers and buyers.  His beliefs are to treat all clients with the same level of service and then they will build his business with referrals because their expectations have been exceeded.


Personal Background

John was raised in West Bloomington and attended Jefferson High School.   He graduated from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul and worked in Eden Prairie as a Flight Instructor starting at age 19 after completing his flying certification.   John has since then lived in Burnsville where he bought his first home at age 23 and now lives in Shakopee where they built there current home in 2000.

Love for the outdoors.   John loves fishing, water skiing and any other sport activity.   He plays softball, basketball regularly.

John and his wife Jennifer (also his real estate partner) have attended Friendship Church for 12 years.
