Tips for a safe Halloween!

The Kawohl Teams wants everyone to have a safe and worry free Halloween evening.

Make your home trick-or-treat ready by:
Removing objects that might present a hazard and keep walkways lit up

Make costumes safe by:
Keep them short to prevent tripping or falling
Use make up instead of a mask
Use reflective tape on costumes and carry a flashlight.

Trick-or-Treat tips:
Have adult or older sibling accompany children door to door
Go as a group and make sure at least one person has a cell phone
Set a time limit and avoid short cuts through backyards, alleys or fields
Stay on sidewalks and only visit houses with the lights on and
Walk with your head up and be aware of your surroundings.

Parent reminders for kids:
Respect other people and their property
Don’t eat any candy until it has been inspected
Explain the difference between tricks and vandalism
