Brief Background: Born and raised on a farm in North Central Iowa, I, Kelli Fleetham, moved to The Cities after High School to attend College at Normandale and work for United Express Airlines as a Customer Service Agent. After receiving my Associates degree in Accounting, I proceeded to St. Thomas University to obatin my Bachelor's degree in Accounting. In the interim of my college transition, I sought a job in the accounting field and was hired at Lifetouch, Inc. as an entry-level accountant. Fast-forwarding to seven years later and rising the accounting ladder with my degree in hand, I found love, was married, and decided to stay-at-home with my son.
As my son grew older and entered school, I found I was destined to return to work, but not for somebody else. After being witness to my parents entrepreneurial success throughout my childhood, I had learned the fundamentals to a growing business first-hand. Coupled with my Bachelor's degree and years of experience in the corporate world, I knew I had the basis for a great run at my own business!
Years ago, my husband, Tom Fleetham, became a phenomenal realtor, and facilitated our purchase of a few townhomes to dabble in the rental market. Upon managing, maintaining, and gaining direct experience, I took our knowledge to the next level and created a business to "Fill the Gap Between Owners & Tenants". Now, five plus years later, with 60 properties (and growing) under management, The Fleetham Group of RE/Max Results continues to strive towards becoming the best in its business!
But, that's not the best part...it's my son's ability to assist and accompany me in my business, observing that same first-hand entrepreneurial experience I did as a child, in hopes he'll continue the tradition.
