Carver County Home Buyer Education Classes

To participate in certain mortgage programs that may offer more flexible terms, better rates or even provided needed cash for the down payment, a home buyer education class may be a requirement. The Carver County CDA offers these classes periodically and awards the certificate that is required by these loan programs. The next class offered will be on Wednesday, February 15th from 6-9PM and Saturday, February 18th 9-2:30. The cost is $30.00 per family. The course covers financing options, the important details of the real estate purchase process, documents and the responsibilities of home ownership. Individual loan counseling appointments are optional and are free except for the cost of obtaining a credit report. Classes are held at the Carver County CDA, 705 Walnut Street in Chaska.
