Here is some interesting data gleaned from the Multiple Listing Services for 2011.  The city of Blaine can boast  the highest sales price for a single home sold in Andover, Blaine, Coon Rapids, and Ramsey this past year.  This beautiful home sold for One Million dollars.  Another beautiful home in Ramsey wasn't far behind at with a sales price at $920,000.  Andover posted the highest average sales price at $198,973 and the highest percentage of original list price at 93.2%.  There were 344 single family homes sold in Andover last year compared to 627 in Blaine, 584 in Coon Rapids, and 249 in Ramsey.  Blaine had 93 new homes sold, Andover had 26, Ramsey had 13 and Coon Rapids had 9.  There is much optimism for 2012 with interest rates expected to remain low for the first part of the year and a lower inventory of homes.
