Community Involvement

I believe your community is only as strong as you make it. My charity of choice is Children's Hospitals, specifically kids with cancer. In addition, I started a childlife re-entry program at both Minneapolis and St. Paul Children's Hospitals allowing for child life specialists to go back to school with kids who have cancer and other serious illnesses to make their re-entry into school easier, make sure the other children understand their illness, and help them rather than tease them. I also participate in the lung cancer walk every year, serve breakfast for the homeless, and buy Christmas gifts for families who are unable to do so on their own.
