Professional Background

Selling Real Estate is my first and only career, I have been a full time Realtor since 1996, enjoying every year and every client. Your Real Estate needs are my entire focus, my goal is to be your Realtor for decades to come.


Professional Interests

My interests in Real Estate extend into the History of Homes, Construction Techniques and the evolution of Architectural Styles. The American Dream of owning your own home is deeply integrated into our society.  Tracing the evolution of housing styles and construction techniques tells the story of what was happening in American Social Trends and Economic Trends.


Specialties

Listing homes which were previously listed on the market, but did not sell is how I began my Real Estate career. My skills were quickly honed to spot the reason 'Why a Home didn't Sell' and correct the Condition, Marketing and Valuation of the Home to ensure it Sells.  I continue to Specialize in Listing Homes in the South of the River Suburbs and providing the information and insight Sellers need to make wise choices in today's market.

Recently, I have added a specialty position to my team of professional assistants, a dedicated Online Marketing Manager. This addition brings a timely new Specialty of providing my Listings with a Concentrated and Coordinated Online Presentatation to the Public.


Personal Background

I grew up moving around the Midwest, living in North Dakota, Illinois, and Michigan. Relocating often gave me a unique understanding of the challenges and rewards you may face when moving your family to a new city. 

During college I waited tables and saved for my dream of traveling to see the world. After graduation, I set off with a one way ticket to Europe and traveled for more than 2 years, learning and exploring everything possible.  This was a once in a lifetime experience and I returned with the best souvenir of all, my husband of 22 years. We have lived in Minnesota for 21 years and have 3 adult children, now ages 18, 19, and 20.


Education

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration. The BBA  degree provides valuable Marketing, Management, Accounting, Finance and Sales skills which I employ to better market your home, manage the process and sell my listings.

During the late 1990's I gained vaulable Teaching Experience at the Twin Cities premiere Real Estate Licensing School, then called Prosource. The courses I taught focused on Real Estate Financing, Writing the Purchase Agreement and the Elements of a Home Valuation.

I continuously educate myself about the Real Estate Industry, Mortgage Requirements, New Online Technology and the Latest Marketing available.  You can benefit from my commitment to Education, rest assured your home will Shine on the Market with the latest, optimal Marketing Techniques.
