The Twin Cities Metro consists of Minnesotaā€™s two biggest cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul, as well as the beautiful surrounding suburbs. Minnesota is well known for all the lakes it has to offer and the Twin Cities Metro has no shortage of lakes. Minneapolis alone, also referred to as ā€œThe City of Lakesā€, has 13 lakes within its border. With over 50 parks in the Minneapolis and St Paul alone there is plenty to do in terms of recreational activities. As the 16th largest metro area in the United States, there is no shortage of things to do in the Twin Cities. From shopping and dining to sporting events and museums you will find plenty of things to keep busy with in the area.

If you are an avid sports fan, do not fret as Minnesota is one of only 13 states home to all four major league sports. You can find a sporting event to attend all year long in the Twin Cities. Baseball lover? Stop by Target Field in Downtown Minneapolis to watch the appropriately named Minnesota Twins play. If hockey or basketball is more your style catch a Timberwolves or Wild game in the area. We canā€™t forget to mention the beloved Minnesota Vikings either! If you havenā€™t been to their new stadium, it is a must-do when you live in the Twin Cities.

Looking for the ultimate shopping and dining experience? Look no further than the Mall of America. Located in Bloomington Minnesota, the largest mall in the country has everything you are looking for. Bring the kids to the Nickelodeon Universe to see the theme park attractions or head to the lower level to see the aquarium. With over 500 stores and 50 restaurants located in this state-of-the-art mall you can get the whole experience.

Perhaps one of the biggest benefits to living in the Twin Cities metro is the world class airport. Named the best Mega airport in the country by JD Power, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport prides itself as being one of the easiest airports to navigate all while being just a light rail stop away from the Mall of America.
