City History

Lexington began as a settlement of Blaine Township in 1877. The city was incorporated in it’s own right as the Village of Lexington on May 21, 1950, and shortly thereafter was established as a city. Today, the city is home to just over 2,000 residents and is a fantastic place to live and work.
