Though there is no public transportation service within St. Bonifacius city limits, neighboring communities like Minnetonka and Chanhassen are connected to the rest of the metropolitan area by Metro Transit. Residents of St. Bonifacius can utilize park and ride lots in these communities to easily commute into the downtown districts of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The five-member Saint Bonifacius City Council provides administrative and legislative oversight of all City business. This council meets every first and third Wednesday of each month to discuss policies, services, budgets, and ordinances.
