City History

Longville began as a logging town back in 1906. Due to all of the surrounding lakes in the area fishing became very popular early and still is today. Also due to the lakes, Longville grew to be a highly traveled town for tourists and cabins. Most of the cabins in the area were built in the mid-1900s and they have done their best to maintain the quaint small town personality.
